Use of Club Boats

Use of Training Section Boats

The club's training section has several boats that are available for the use of club members when not required for training purposes. There is a Wayfarer (called Topsy!) two Topaz and an RS Feva.

Any one can ask to use them providing they have achieved RYA level 2 or have equivalent experience.

A contribution of £10 towards the cost of keeping these boats on the water is expected. Please put contributions in an envelope and place them in the box marked training boat contributions under the main key box.

Arrangements for using the RS Feva are different. This is loaned out to juniors for a race series.

As with all these things there are a couple of obvious rules:

  • You'll need to provide your own buoyancy aid and must wear it
  • During club racing, cruising craft must keep well clear of the racing. This may mean staying by the 'powerboat' end of the lake.
  • All breakages and losses must be reported as soon as possible to trainingsec@ncsc.org.uk so that repairs can take place before it is required again.

To check availability, to make a booking or just for some more information please contact Sarah Read or email trainingsec@ncsc.org.uk
