    Wind and boats

    Members should check that their dinghies are securely tied down as a matter of urgency due to the very high winds we are experiencing. Today there were 3 boats blown onto their sides. They blew over as in one case it was not tied down at all and the other 2 due to very slack anchor ropes. There are also many other dinghies bouncing on their trolleys due to slack tie down

  • Barrier code

    The barrier code changes on 2nd March around midday. The new code has been emailed out to everyone who has rejoined. Please do not disclose the code to anyone, if they have rejoined and havn’t got it, ask them to obtain it off a flag officer who can check they have rejoined. Thankyou

    Renewals are now due, all have been sent to last known e mail address around 10th Dec 18.     Notts County Becomes A BYS Club

    So what is a BYS club I hear you ask, it stands for British Youth Sailing Recognised Club (2018-19) which replaces Champion Club. This gives us access to resources and may help us access other funding, and of course recognises are active and thriving Youth Scene.
