The club has been very busy the last couple of months.

Training: There has been two start sailing courses, with many joining afterwards, along with the easter junior course, a windsurfing course (around 60 people starting in the sport), thanks to all the volunteer instructors and helpers
Coaching: Tim Cripps has galvanised a whole new generation of potential racing sailors, Tuesdays and Saturdays have never been busier. The Transitional coaching has seen up to 35 taking part, with many of the top racing sailors coaching newcomers. On 7th July there is a coaching day
Racing: Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday racing have all been busy though the light winds have not been ideal.
Honda Rib Challenge: Mondays have seen return of RIB Challenge for youngsters, led by Neil Unwin and his team of volunteers, at the regional final we had a second and fifth in the two age groups, you could see the Notts County standard of training shining through.
Open Meetings: The Spring regatta was a huge success with nearly 200 tickets sold, and most taking to the water at one of the series. The Windsurf open had a good entry with quite a number of visitors and a meal after. The Junior open saw 40 taking part. The Topper Midlands with 35 entries saw a good Notts County contingent with some great results (Ben Pailing second, Charlie Hopskinson first under 13) testament to the success of the youth squad. The Laser open is 1st July.
Visiting other clubs: There has been success at the Filey regatta, and Jamie Mawson 2nd at RS600 inlands, Duncan Monaghan won the Glossop Team 15, and I am sure i have missed some - so please let us know if I have.
